California 211 Providers Network (211 CA) is proud to host the 2026 Disaster Ready & Resilient in-person conference, a statewide gathering dedicated to advancing coordination, collaboration, and innovation across the Information & Referral (I&R) sectors.
During this two day gathering, leaders from diverse sectors will convene to share and explore forward-thinking approaches to emergency preparedness, response, and recovery highlighting the critical role of cross-sector collaboration and data-driven strategies to strengthen community resilience.
Conference At-a-Glance
211 CA's Disaster Ready & Resilient I&R Conference will convene leaders and practitioners from across California to strengthen disaster preparedness, response, and recovery. Attendees include 211 professionals, Aging and Disability partners, Information & Referral leadership and staff, California State agencies, local and county emergency management, VOAD partners, and community-based organizations. Together, we’ll share lessons learned, elevate effective practices, and build relationships that improve coordination before, during, and after disasters.

Keynote Spotlight
We are excited to welcome Jason Pemberton as our keynote speaker. With a background in psychology and human resource development, Jason is a trained and accredited coach who works with purpose-led businesses, social enterprises, B Corps, and nonprofits to help individuals and teams navigate challenge and change.
Jason will draw on his lived experience as a survivor of the Christchurch earthquakes, along with lessons from leading teams engaged in rebuilding an entire city. Through real-world insight, he will explore the challenges that shape disaster recovery and share practical, human-centered tools to support both communities and the professionals who serve them. Attendees will leave with renewed perspective, actionable strategies, and a deeper understanding of how human-centered leadership strengthens recovery and resilience after disaster.
